I am a PhD candidate working with Dr. George Ricker on aspects of the TESS mission not directly related to exoplanet identification and characterization. Specifically, I focus on transient detection and stellar astrophysics, with a particular emphasis on asteroseismology and the origins and downstream effects of stellar magnetic fields. I’m also very active in the Physics Department, having served as President of the Physics Graduate Student Council and as one of the student readers on the Admissions Committee.
